Summer Prospect Camp
The SU Prospect ID Camp is designed for prospective student-athletes ranging from high school freshman to junior college sophomores (junior college freshman must be academic qualifier) to showcase their abilities in front of the entire Southern University baseball coaching staff along with other college coaches and scouts.
Participants will be given a chance to have their skills (hitting, fielding, speed, pitching, etc.) evaluated by college coaches. Any pitcher who is a dual player will be able to participate at both positions. Approximately, 75% of past USM baseball rosters have been filled by SU camp participants.

Pitcher/Catcher Check-in: 10:15 AM - 10:50 AM
Other Positions Check-In: 11:45 AM - 12:10 PM
Bullpens Start Time: 11:00 AM
This includes position players who want to be evaluated in a bullpen as well
Position Players Evals Start Time: 12:30 PM
This includes pitchers who want to be evaluated as a hitter as well
Dual Position Player Cost: $265 per Camper
($250 + $15 Fee)
Single Position Player Cost: $210 per Camper
($200 + $10 Fee)
